ASVI Edmonton — Alberta Society for the Visually Impaired

ASVI is a registered non-profit society with northern and southern Alberta chapters and a provincial council.  ASVI evolved in 1971 when it strongly advocated the integration of visually impaired and blind students from distant residential schools to neighborhood schools.  ASVI is actively involved in advocacy efforts with various levels of government, providing educational and social opportunities for families and service providers, and otherwise working together to maximized the opportunities for the success of children faced with vision loss, including those with additional needs.  ASVI is gearing up for a fun and exciting new season filled with lots of activities for families.

Join ASVI today! Membership is $5.00 per family per year.
