ASVI Edmonton General Meeting

 

June 10th, 2008

 

Amber Thomas, Grade 9,  from Drayton Valley who will be representing Canada swimming in the Olympics in China September 2008.

 

The Thomas family has had a very exciting week in Montreal at the Olympic / Paralympic Trials.  I am very happy to announce that Amber is now a member of the Canadian Paralympics Team that will be representing Canada in Beijing in September 2008!!!

Active U' program

 

ASVI is sponsoring a recreation day to be held at the University of Alberta as part of their 'Active U' program.


It is open to any of our ASVI kids aged 8-18 and their siblings and/or friends.  The event runs on Saturday, June 14 from 11:30 to 4 p.m. 
The students will be participating in gymnastics activities, swimming and wall climbing. 
This is a free event for our member families.  Depending on attendance, volunteers may be a necessity.  Please contact Maren Hasse if you are interested
